Wilson Electronics recently released the WilsonPro 4000R, an industrial signal booster with cellular coverage range up to 100,000+ sq ft for commercial buildings, factories, and other large venues.
Without a doubt, this is the most powerful cellular signal booster ever made. Previous WilsonPro units usually top out at 25K to 50K sq ft. However, the 4000R is capable of boosting all variations of 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE for all carriers (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, e,tc.) up to 140,000 sq ft depending on the outside signal.
The secret to the WilsonPro 4000R is the revolutionary design. Instead of 1 signal booster, the unit houses four (yes, FOUR) independent signal boosters in a rack-mount unit for IT closets. With the need for only one outside antenna and XDR technology, which automatically adjusts for maximum gain no matter how strong or poor the signal, the WilsonPro 4000R is a clean and easy install unlike other similar signal boosting models.
With coverage range now into the 100K sq ft range, the WilsonPro 4000R is positioning cellular signal boosters into medium and large business markets.
Most cellular boosters are consumer-grade units topping out at 6-7K sq ft. Enterprise signal boosters are a new niche within a niche and have served mostly small and medium businesses at under 50K sq ft of coverage. Beyond 50K sq ft for indoor buildings, companies would look into DAS (distributed antenna system) as the first option.
However, generally DAS costs and deployment times generally reach hundreds of thousands of dollars and take months to even years from planning to installation. The WilsonPro 4000R costs much less, provides the same results, and takes only weeks to install.
While DAS still reigns supreme for airports, stadiums, and other mega complexes and venues, the cellular signal booster industry starting with the 4000R is expected to bring better talk, text, and faster internet and data for most commercial buildings.
The Wilson Pro 4000R includes:
Depending on the outside signal, up to 16 inside antennas can be used with the WilsonPro 4000R. Wilson Electronics is now using dome antennas which broadcasts boosted signal in 360 degrees, ensuring consistent coverage throughout the building.
XDR (extreme dynamic range) and onboard software guarantees the automactic maximum gain with higher tolerance to strong incoming signal and higher uplinks and downlinks for weaker signals. This results in real-time adjustments for optimal signals at all times.
