First, mount the outdoor antenna vertically on the roof or on other high and unobstructed place. The 10-inch pole mounting assembly is recommended for exterior wall mounting to move the antenna up and away from the wall structure. Both Omni (omni-directional) and Yagi (uni-directional) antennas come with mounting hardware to easily attach onto standard 2-inch antenna poles. Yagi antennas should be positioned to face your nearby cellular tower while Omni antennas do not. To find the direction of your nearby tower visit our Help Me Decide pages, contact your cellular provider, or use your phone in test-mode as a guide. Outdoor antennas should be installed in such a way that no major structure or object stands between the antenna and the tower (clear line of sight is preferable).
Second, install the amplifier near a wall power outlet so the 6-foot power supply cable can reach it. Always use a quality power surge protector to safeguard against electricity spikes. Amplifiers require occasional monitoring and adjustments so accessible positions are recommended.
Next, install your indoor antenna on wall or ceiling in a way to maximize directional coverage in front of it. Most building kits come with our powerful panel antennas which is directional and has a strong frontal preference but they will also cover sides well, allowing it to broadcast toward the area you want to cover. The external antenna connects to the “outside antenna” connector on the amplifier, and the internal antenna connects to the “inside antenna” connector.
Power on the amplifier and wait for the green LEDs to light up.

Super happy with the amp. I would lose 90% of my calls in my shop and office, but after installing the booster I haven't lose a call, awesome.

I didn't have any cell phone service in my house. I live in the country and have aluminum siding. I now have 3 bars and the family is very pleased. Take the time to find the best placement for your inside antenna. I experimented with several locations to find the best spot. I had the cable on the floor for a few days to make sure.

Used this product because a microcell tower would just not work in our offive. This took me from no reception to full 4G bars.

Great in rural area

I tried the desktop model but could not pick-up a signal further away than 5ft from the antenna. The DB Pro gives me good reception 20 ft. away. Great product for use in a remote rural area.

Living under a metal roof

I had a metal roof installed on my house and lost my cell signal. I installed the Wilson Booster and it greatly improved the signal in the room where the antenna is located, but other rooms in the house the signal is still a little weak. I guess you need additional antennas around the house for full coverage.

I was a little skeptical when I ordered this kit but I was wrong. It works great. We had a metal roof installed a few months back on our home and what cell service we had diminished to nothing inside. I checked with my cell carrier and they said there was nothing they could do. We are limited to what we can get living out in the country with no cable. The instructions in the kit are easy to follow and in no time I have turned my home from unusable to a great signal inside. I am completely satisfied with the kit and would reccomend it to anyone that lives remote with limited cell service.
