An attenuator is an accessory designed to be placed in line with a cellular amplifier to reduce (attenuate) the strength of incoming cellular signals. If you have a strong outside cellular signal, attenuators help prevent signal overload, which can cause your signal booster to decrease in power or shut down. A combiner/diplexer is an accessory that allows you to combine two directional outside antennas operating under different frequencies to one amplifier. A splitter allows you to evenly split the boosted signal between 2 to 4 indoor antennas. They are commonly used when multiple indoor antennas are needed to achieve desired coverage. There are 2-way, 3-way, and 4-way configurations available. 50 Ohm splitters are best used with 50 Ohm systems, while 75 Ohm splitters are best used with 75 Ohm systems.
