This item has been discontinued. For the updated version please look at the Wilson Mobile 3G +50dB Amplifier Kit - 460102
The Wilson 801212F Mobile 3G complete kit is by far the Top Selling mobile solution in the Wilson product line. It is also the most powerful vehicle amplifier kit. The heart of the kit is the 801201, a solid 3-Watt Dual-Band (850/1900 Mhz) mobile wireless amplifier. Part of Wilson's SignalBoost HDMobile Wireless Professional Series, this robust amp packs 50 dB gain on the 850 Mhz Band range and 50 dB on the 1900. All North American carriers are supported (except Nextel/iDen, 4G, WiMax, and other signals not on the 850/1900 bands). If you need extra signal boost in extremely weak signal areas, consider the field-tested 801212-B complete kit we put together.
The device is built to simultaneously support multiple users (on phones and data cards) wirelessly. The unit can be used in a car, truck, RV or boat, and is designed to improve your device's performance and signal strength for fewer dropped calls, clearer reception, and faster data rates. This package includes Wilson's new Low Profile inside-vehicle antenna, and the 301103 12-inch Magnet Mount Outside Antenna.
This little beauty features an impressive 5.12 dBi on the 850 band range and 6.12 dBi on the 1900 Mhz frequency. A metal ground plane is required, but easily achieved once the antenna is placed on the roof of the vehicle.
UPDATED: As of February 2014, the manufacturer changed the connectors from FME to SMA. If you purchased your Wilson 801212 on and after this date, you will most likely need SMA cables.

This is actually the second one I have owned. But this one is for my wife's car. This thing really does will with providing just enough amplification to the signal when you're in a low coverage or "dead" area that you don't drop a call, especially in some of the hilly areas of Virginia.

I travel throughout Texas, especially all of the western side. Had a friend that works in the oilfield reccommend this unit to me. Was out in an area that normally would not have signal. I had no problem getting it. Only down side, it does not support 4g LTE. But I still was able to have phone and text service . Was very impressed. Pleased with the purchase.

Got the unit a day before trip to far West Texas. Not many spots I have trouble in, but knew of one road I really wanted to see how the unit worked. The unit did increase the bars on my phone, but still could not call out or recieve calls. This was for a 25 mile stretch of road. Will be going out to the ranch for another test. Hope to have better results!

As a general contractor that travels seventeen state our firm has five of the cradle-type units in use (all delivering everything promised)and when I purchased a new vehicle I decided to opt for this unit and it delivers the superior performance we have come to expect from Wilson. If you can't make a call when this amplifier is in your vehicle you need to consider a sat phone. Keep up the good work Wilson.

I work from south of Superior to north of Duluth, MN to the Canadian border, with rarely reception anywhere, and I rely on my phone to receive my jobs. This makes my job possible, without it I wouldn't be able to work here!

Live and work in Rural Nebraska and Kansas with many hours spent on the road. Service is patchy on a good day. This is the second Wilson booster I have owned in five years. Wore out the first one. It is a must have. Great product!
