Wilson Electronics 807280 is a channelized dual band repeater provides the user with the option to optimize the gain with the selectors on the face of the amplifier. With a gain of 70dB in the Cellular bands and 75dB in the PCS bands, this repeater is designed for small to medium buildings. It will improve the performance of your cell phone or data card by more than 20 times, eliminating dropped calls and bolstering data transfer rates. When paired with an outside antenna and an inside antenna, the Wilson 807280 can capture cellular signals from nearby cell towers, amplify them, and then broadcast them indoors.
How it works:
The outside antenna captures the cellular signal, sends it to the signal booster where it is amplified, and then broadcasts it indoors via the inside antenna. When your cellular phone or data card needs to communicate with the cell tower, the same process takes place in the reverse order - the inside antenna sends your device's signal to the amplifier, then to the outside antenna, which broadcasts your signal back to the tower.
The Wilson 807280 works with all cell phones and data cards except those which utilize iDEN, Nextel, or 1700MHz AWS (T-Mobile US 3G).
