We use these in all of our Field Service trucks and in places we could never get cell service before, we are now able to get on-line with our phones as well as access the internet using this booster. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to boost 4G signals.

I purchased this unit as an upgrade for your 3G unit I have used for 2 1/2 years expecting it to help with 4G data transmission, however it is no better than my old unit. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement!

I purchased this amplifier to provide coverage where none existed previously. I installed it but substituted the 12" magnetic antenna for the 4" included in the kit. I now have 3 - 4 bars of service in an area where I could not previously use my phone.

Easy to install, easy to use.

I took this on I95 from North Carolina to Florida and back while on Sprint, a very challenging carrier indeed. Prior to using this booster, there were areas with no usable signal at all in South Carolina. In these areas I at least has a usable voice signal, if not data.
My only complaint is about the internal antenna. The range on it is extremely short. We're going to be using this in a 5th wheel soon, and could use a more powerful antenna to give us a decent signal throughout the trailer. Perhaps Wilson Amplifiers has a suggestion or two for that.

I bought this unit to increase my coverage in East Texas, South of Hemphill, Texas, on the West side of Toledo Bend. Both AT&T and Verizon have spotty coverage, and I have phones with both carriers. This booster works with multiple phones, and multiple carriers at the same time. There are lots of tall pine trees in the area that tend to block cell signals. I've noticed much better voice coverage, and can now text in areas where I had zero signal in the past. I've also noticed much better coverage on 3G for my smartphones. I highly recommend this system, based on my experience.

it may be the fiberglass body of my roadtrek van but this amplifier did absolutely nothing for me. I will take it to my cabin and try it there. if not, it will be a very expensive paper weight or door stop

Upgraded from Wilson Electronics' Verizon Wireless-compatible 3G to this new 4G mobile unit. Initial stationary speed test had upload/download mbps increase ranging 3x to 10x compared to non-amplified depending on tower proximity/signal strength. Voice call quality improved on receiving end stating less background noise (still some), slightly better clarity than the 3G unit.
Mobile/moving 4g data test mixed review as when connected to business VPN, connection frequently drops when phone display signal drops to 1-2 bars. So I suggest only stationary use of 4G data in weak signal areas. Unfortuately, stopping the vehicle each time for 4G data is inconvenient, but is safer. But if you are a passenger using 4G data, stopping the vehicle would be an inconvenience/delay to everyone else.
Placement of external antenna not near an auto window and distant from the amplifier box is important as the operating signal lights in particular for 700MHZ (data range) & 800 MHZ (voice range?) for VZW will go red/inoperable due to feedback circuit protection. I use this unit mostly in a subcompact SUV and have the antenna on the roof near the rear hatchback and the antenna cord is long enough to reach to the driver's seat which is sufficient distance (approx. 6-7 feet) to avoid excess signal feedback. This is important else no boost effective and might mislead your evaluation.
Overall, I think Wilson Electronics made a huge improvement on the 4G unit v the 3G. The 4G unit has multiple (4) MHz band light indicators which was very helpful initially to determine if signal feedback was occurring and the amplifier was working on which frequency. Also the improvement in voice call background noise and tonal clarity not for the audio heard by person in the vehicle but the audio for the person being called seems to have improved.
I use a VZW Samsung Galaxy Note3 with this unit primarily. Sometimes I enable mobile Wi-Fi hotspot (i.e., wireless tethering) for connection with an Apple iPad Mini or Dell xps12 laptop. But it is moreso the dropped VPN connection when moving that is the problem rather than the amplifier itself, as mentioned earlier.
I have yet to try this amplifier in very remote locations where signal strength is mostly 4gx1 bar, nor where only 3G seems available. I expect a more thorough review in a couple of months.
Overall, I am glad I purchased this 4G unit. But I had bought the 3G unit only about 2 months prior without Wilson revealing the 4G unit public availability date. They may have been waiting for FCC certification. Wilson did not offer a rebate for 4g purchase with a recent 3g unit purchases' return :-(
